Diner Review – Fantastic place!. My husband and I had diner at Sari Friday night. The atmosphere is very cool and different from anything else in the city, we were lucky enough to be there when they had a saxophone player preforming cover music of relevant upbeat music/artists. The food was wonderful and portions were great, the decor and layout are unreal and very modern. We loved the upper lounge area with bar and comfortable seating, a wonderful place to unwind after the work week. I Will definitely be back.01 Feb, 2014Diner Review – Fantastic place!. Sarai vs. Mazaar. I heard a lot about this place, especially how it’s much better than Mazaar – which I give a 5/5. Atmosphere: pretty nice – I recommend sitting upstairs at the bar, but honestly anywhere is nice.Staff: very polite actually. we were asked by several different people how our food was. And our service was decently quick. We ordered the couples platter:Hummus – you taste more chickpeas and is less creamy than Mazaar’sFattoush – actually not very good. It was lacking something…I was disappointed because I really love fattoush and was looking forward to it. (The Hungry Wolf does it better) Also – Mazaar gives you larger portions of both hummus and fattoush – Sarai gives you less. Platter: we weren’t asked how we like our meat, but they guessed it right at medium-well done. Veg – borderline raw and highly seasoned, still edible if you like your veg hardfries – standard, nothing specialchicken – pretty goodsirloin – pretty good What we did have a problem with, which was undeniable, was the small sized plates and the heavy silverware. Seriously the silverware is really heavy. Don’t try to lay it all nice on your small plate for the waitress to collect because it will easily slide off and make a really loud noise. Our waitress was really down to earth and completely understood our curiosity and confusion. Overall: slightly above average. Sorry, Mazaar still trumps quality Lebanese food.

Oily mess. If you guys like the oiliest food that is barely edible, this is the place to be. Honestly, their bread is so oily when they make their wraps it falls apart halfway through when you’re eating it. Even if you tell them NOT to use a lot of oil, they do otherwise.

Will I be back? OF COURSE!. Where do I even begin with Sarai, maybe I’ll start with saying they serve some of the best Lebanese cuisine I have tasted, or maybe I’ll begin with the friendly staff. My wife, kids and I had never been to Sarai but after hearing nothing but good reviews from close friends and family we knew we had to try it. We were greeted by our server, who may I mentioned had the biggest smile on her face the entire night. She was very friendly and spoke to not only my wife and I but also my children, informing us of the specials and also food she had recommended. Although there was no kid menu, our server did recommend certain items that my children would enjoy. Being a Saturday night, just like anywhere else, the house was PACKED! Our appetizers came out quite quickly, we split a hummus, fattoush, baba ganoosh and also chicken bites for my kids. Our server had brought out this spread that I believe was called the Sarai Pepper Puree, completely on the house and I would definitely recommend it to others! My wife and I both had the Mixed Grill, (which our server said was her favourite) and my children had split the Chicken Kebab dish. By the end of the night we we’re all stuffed! The live entertainment and music was just an excellent touch to the overall environment and atmosphere. My family and I will definitely be back for round two of Sarai!

Amazing food! I traveled from Michigan to eat here and it did not disappoint. From their delicious appetizers (baba glamour, garlic label, cheese pies) to their yummy yummy fattouch, melt in your mouth meat kabob everything is a must have. The waitress was very friendly and was right on point with service. The ambience is spectacular. Definitely a place you want to stop in and eat when your in this town!! I know we will be back 🙂

I ate so much I cant think, but really in all honesty the best lebanese fusion in windsor. The service was amazing. The meat kabob is unreal!! The flavor was spot on. Decor is very beautiful. This place is a must see.
