We stopped in for lunch during a hockey tournament. Even though the restaurant was swamped unexpectedly. We had a rush order taken care of with out any problems. We met the owner, who was a wonderful woman seeing to all of our needs. We had awesome wings and a huge plate of pulled pork nachos, which were also awesome. You gotta eat here!
Probably some of the best southern food I’ve tasted in a long time. The atmosphere reminded me of a Texas styling lodge due to all the monotone wood and bright lights. Service was definitely friendly and made me feel like I mattered. But you don’t really wanna hear that, you wanna hear about the food.I had the chicken and waffles, cornbread and fries. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and went perfectly with all the sauces provided. The waffle was a good fluffy compliment to the density of the chicken. The fries were a little bland and the cornbread was a little dense and crumbly, but both were good.Overall, I would recommend this place
We went here well coming back from the states and was passing through windsor. When we walked in, it reminded me of montanas we waited a while to be seated no one was around. When we got seated we got our drinks and looked at the menu. The prices were outrageous we wanted to get up and leave but we were hungry and it was late. We got a couple apps. The nachos and deep fried pickles and I got a water hubby got a root beer and we got two orders of cornbread. The food was subpar, nothing special at all def not worth the price. Our bill was $45 for two apps two corn breads and a pop. We won’t be going back.
It was delicious! Service was great and food came fast! I had the meaty Mac and it was so yummy!
They were better before they moved. The food was A LOT better when it was on Ottawa. The food is still good, but its like the cooks got lazier. The ribs aren’t as good, and the food doesn’t seem as fresh.
A little slice of heaven. Smoke and spice always delivers perfection, With everything I’ve tried on the menu witch is almost everything. The only thing smoke and spice needs to add is chicken and waffles from the old restaurant (sweet ts). And this place would be even better 🙂
Horrible Customer Service. We ordered the 9.95 lunch special which gives you a few choices. However the quantity of food you get would not feed a cat. Complained by email on their web site and after 5 days some guy named Duane wrote me and said some people like the small portions because they don’t get full. Maybe if you are a mouse. Ever heard of value for money ? One 6 inch sausage and a small coleslaw for 9.95 is not a good value. You would think that when a customer takes the time to complain they would try to make them happy by offering a discount coupon for next time or something. Nothing from this guy. Never going back. They should learn what customer service is all about because they obviously don’t care.
