  Recommended by a friend. Once again I dine alone only to focus on the details of the place and the food. I ordered the hungry man ribs. Truthfully, smoked ribs should stand by themselves without sauces for taste and juicy fall off the bone ribs. These did not. The ribs needed help from the sauces to even get there for tastiness. Too bad. Such promise. The Mac and Cheese was just a little bland, plain and ordinary. The blend of cheeses did not stack up. They looked great from the outside with plenty of spices rubbed in. But it was missing a definite zing to make them stand out. Housekeeping, is a little lax, with plenty of spider webs at the bar to catch crumbs. Just look down between the wood and the stainless steel Bar. I know, it’s Halloween. Still no excuse. I had to ask for water, ask for a plate for the bones. Needless, I will not be back. Life is too short to come back to such a place.

  We met friends and had a lovely visit. Not sure how our friends felt about the food but my husband and I had a mixed review! He thought the ribs were burnt and the chicken was good. I thought the ribs were just okay but the chicken tasted fishy! We agreed the pulled pork was dry and tasteless. The sides werent too bad. Our server was very professional and attentive. So I guess I would have to say our visit was just okay. Wed go again if it was suggested by friends but we wouldnt choose to go there.

  Always a great meal in a great setting! Definitely one of my fave restaurants in Windsor 🙂 can get extremely busy at times but just goes to show how awesome their food and service is
