Worst fish and chips I ever had. Ordered fof take out about 1130 am on Friday, the day of their fish and chip special day. I opened the package back at work the fish looked burnt When I broke open one of the pieces it looked as if it was left over from the day before and just refried. The fries were soggy as well. This should never have been given out to a customer. I called and complained to the manager and he did offer me a refund.I’ll never go back. What a waste of money and appetite.
Went to this place for lunch. I had lamburger and my daughter had berf dip we both ordered the sweetpotato fries. Both dishes wee wonderful. OiI sent pics of rhe british table top and the phone booth to my friend who insisted while we were in Windsor we should go to the place. So a whole group of us went that night. I had the soup of the day , the three humus platter and deep fried pickles. All were tasty. My party had ordered so many items on the menu from the bacon potato ale soup to the perch dinner. The only real complaint was the service. Although my linch came quickly that day , there werent a lot of people there. In the evening , however, the story was different. My table ordered at around 645 and didnt receive dishes until close to 9. .Then at 10 when meal ws just finishing up we were told children had to leave because it was a pub. I dont mond having dessert cut short if we had gotten there at 8 but we were there at 645! Also the waitress clearly hadnt known the menu because every question we had for her she couldnt answer but she was cute as a button. In the line of food the only thing people afreed wasnt good was the onion rings.I dont know why pubs have that beer batter. If we want that beer flavour we will order a beer. Other than thay everything else was superb.
