Food is half decent but not great. I was staying with a team in downtown Windsor for approximately 4 weeks on business. Due to the limited selection of quick lunches in the area, we ate here about twice a week. We called in advance every time because there were usually 4/5 of us and this is what they asked us to do. One day during the 4th week, we called multiple times and no one answered the phone. We showed up to order in person around 1:00pm (after their busy hour), and they turned down our business, claiming they were too busy! After being frequent customers for so many weeks, we will never go back.
Toasty’s pushes the definition of grilled cheese to great lengths, by stuffing in a helluva lot of meat. Not that I’m complaining, of course!Ordered the Italian Club combo, but the pretty girl behind the desk might have mixed up the order. Ended up with my Italian club, plus another on-the-house! The sandwiches were great, definitely going back for more!
Lunch type restaurant. Came here for a dinner, it was good, but it felt more like a lunch break type food. Inexpensive, worth the money, felt like something you’d concoct at home. I got the pizza grilled cheese, was good. The coleslaw was super vinegary, should have got the macaroni side.
