This place recently opened up around where we live and figured that maybe should give them a chance. The decor is clean, simple and appeals to the local international Chinese Students attending the local University. I was the only person in the place at 3 pm in the afternoon and i ordered the regular A1- Hot and Spicy Noodle bowl at $7.00. It took them 20 minutes to make the dish and was served. The bowl had a ample amount of noodles but the soup was clearly made with a Szechuan-style soup base powder with two little pieces of Bok choy and no meat. It was hot tasting but the broth had no depth and definitely had a artificial taste to it. One could get the real thing from a street hawker or cantina in HK or Singapore for like two bucks. Considering the rather long time it took to get this and the clear lack of actual real soup base construction this bowl was worth more like $1.50. The staff was polite so no complaints there. I do better than this by a 1000 percent at home.
