My partner is from Windsor and I lived there for 4 years and frequented this place for its great pizza and visit when we travel to Windsor. Unfortunately, with success comes crowded rooms, loud boisterous din and overworked staff who have to shout above the noise all night to be heard. Still think it’s a good place for Italian offerings but might consider moving to a higher ceiling structure as the din will drive people away.
Food was good, but not the best Italian I have ever had. My server was great, but I have to agree with other comments that it is crowded and very loud. When I first arrived I wasn’t created at the door, made my way to sit at the bar and the first server ignored me although he saw that I was a new guest. Not sure I would rush to go back to this restaurant.
Good food, but for a price. I’ve been here a couple of times, and I’ve liked the food both times. The thing is though that the place is very crowded and VERY loud. There were a large group of drunk people hooting and hollering at the bar, which made conversation difficult. We ordered another pizza along with our food to take home, and the waiter never reported it to the kitchen, so we ended up not getting it at all.We had to have the busboy get our desserts because our waiter barely came back to us. Pizza is great though. They need more seating/walking space.
