Great food, I went a little while ago. Did not have a reservation but they were able to fit us in. I had the stuffed gnocchi in rose, it was exceptional! The service was absent, as younger adults they were less attentive to us, we had to ask 3 times for the bill. Other than the service the food was great.
Doing things right. I have been to Basilico a number of times for parties and and dinner and have had a pleasant experience every time I went, the wait staff is friendly and accomodating The baked beans appetizer is pleasently different from your normal baked beans, the pasta dishes are not a lot to choose from but are very good, they bring you a nice loaf of bread drizzled with olive oil and rosemary, and is very fragrant , the cold antipasta tray is also varied with a nice assortment of cheeses , olives and proscuitto and salami, the hot fried calamari was not greasy , I like a nice marinara sauce with a touch of hot pepper to dunck my calamari in, they will accomadate you. The wines are good and not overly priced, and they really are doing things right.
Amazing Place!. We decided to go into this place on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised with how great this place is! We walked in on a Saturday evening and noticed that it was very busy. Despite how busy it was, the hostess accomodated us in a pleasant manner. We ordered the food and was very happy with how great it tasted! The pizza was cooked in a woodburning oven, and it tasted so crispy and tasty! The calamari was also very tasty! I have recommended this place to others and will definitely be back!
Terrible management. Called for reservation for six people, and were told that we are booked for 7:30. When we showed up at 7:25, we were told to wait because table we wre suppose to get was still occupied. We had high value clients with us and were put on the spot. We waited approximately 20mins, and there was still had to wait, and there is no waiting area, you basically stand and watch other people eat or stand outside in the cold. After half an hour we managed to get reservation at another restaurant and took off from there but Basilico manager/owner was not regretful at all.All I want to say there are tons of other places give much better service and food than Basilico, unless you don,t mind waiting for hours despite having reservation.Basilica- FYI we spent eight hundred dollars that night on food and wine, which was you loss and on top of that Be assured that these six people will tell probably six hundred people for the terrible service you provide.
If you want the real thing!! THIS IS IT!. This is authentic italian food!!! it’s sooo good… my plate practically clean… lol.. the bread the service.. the food.. the enviornment…. amazing food .. love this place!!!
Classy yet very comfortable atmosphere. Entire menu is delicious. Ask the waiter for assistance on what to eat that night, they know what’s best.
I found it to be very good. I like that they have a few dishes prepared in the woodburning oven (other than pizza). Lively atmosphere and nice decor. I’ve been twice and will go again.
