2016/10/15On Saturday it took a few tries to find something that we both wanted for dinner. By then we were in western reaches of Woodbridge, and we found Basilico, a pleasant, casual Italian restaurant. The menu is typical of many Italian restaurants, with sections featuring appetizers (including salads), pasta/risotto, pizza (wood fired), and mains. We weren’t very hungry, so we tried to keep in on the simpler side. SWMBO started with the Paste e Fagioli Soup. It was good, but she prefers hers with a bit more tomato. I had the Leaves of Crisp Romaine (aka Caesar salad). Again good, but perhaps a little bit too much dressing?Then we moved on to our next dish. Both of us chose pizza. SWMBO: Pollo (tomato sauce, goat cheese, grilled chicken, sundried tomato, arugula). The sundries tomatoes and arugula gave the pizza a vibrant, colourful appearance. Nice crust; not too thick and not too thin. The kind where you can pick up the slice and fold it over. I had the Quattro Stagione (tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives). We both agreed that mine was a bit tastier, probably due to the slightly salty mozzarella, compared to the goat cheese on here pizza. Service was prompt and attentive.

All in all great food and great service and will most definately will be returning with more friends and even family!! Great job Enza!!
