Incredibly popular local restaurant in Elmira. Don’t be mistaken! The Sip and Bite is an incredibly popular eating place in Elmira. And there are good reasons for this. Although somewhat predictable, the menu is diverse and the portions very generous. I usually have the two-piece fish and chips or the triple-decker club sandwich. And what other place still offers you jell-o or rice pudding for dessert? People eat early in Elmira. At 5 p.m., the place is already full and the take-out at full speed. If you can, don’t sit in the first dining room during the winter months. The outside door is not sheltered against the cold, and your meal is freezing over in minutes. Go to the warmer climates of the main dining room.
