Birthday celebration gone bad. The owner asked me to move to a table upon which there were drinks and I said I didn’t want to move there as I believed people were going to come back to their table but he insisted they were gone…to my surprise an acquaintance of mine walks in and starts dancing to the music the band is playing, sees me and I ask him and his friend to sit down…the guys whose table it was (I was right) came back and yelled at us to get out and move!!! I was shocked, mortified and further insulted when the owner who told me to sit there told us to get out as well!!! my acquaintance and his friend were black and the only two black persons at the time…I let you be the judge, what followed was the worst birthday celebration ever…I did not allow it to spoil my night though as a friend of mine came in a few minutes later, we were celebrating her 65th birthday just passed…obviously I had returned to my original table, but later when we were on the patio, someone locked us out!!! We returned through the front door, but never again will I return to a bar that takes my money but discriminates against color, in this day and age!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
