Ate here a couple of weeks ago. My wife and I were severely ill after eating here. We ordered the Jerk Chicken as a friend raves about this restaurant frequently. So I had to of coarse try it out for myself. Checked the Review and the review were good. The chicken did have a slight smell but I thought it was the seasoning. My wife and I were deathly ill, its not like we didnt eat it right away either, we really couldn’t finish the food to be honest as we could taste that the meat was bad/spoiled. We’ve had Jerk Chicken from many Jamaican restaurants so we know what the seasoning is suppose to taste like. I will never be going back. We didnt eat anything else that day so its not like we had to do a process of elimination as to where we got sick. Really sad that a place that is spoken so highly of is serving bad chicken. We couldnt have been the only once that got sick. If I could give 0 star I would

Food is great here. I come to this area often and like their food the reason why I’m giving it 3 is the service to say the least it’s definitely gone way down. They use to be the best for service and food! They serve authentic Jamaican food, and on I think Fridays the menu is different than in the week…. The server’s in the morning usually 2 have mad attitude they can be disrespectful rude and ignorant towards customers that are there for not only for but a good experience. The ones in the evening about the same… So to say they least there is no perfect time to get good service cross, your fingers when you go in there. I use to go there more often before the management changed the staff, some original staff I think are still there but it’s not the same. The line ups are crazy cause the food is so good, the setting is crowded and it needs a terrible upgrade.
The prices a great the foods amazing the place is always clean and tidy staff is very we’ll mannered and service is always with a smile
First Rate Cafeteria. Small, primarily take-out restaurant with limited seating. Frequented by public transit drivers and for good reason. Fast, efficient service and excellent food at budget prices. $5 for a filling meal – you can’t go wrong here.
Just went there and had the red pea soup and jerk pork with festival…. Amazing best jerk! Customer service is absolutely perfect. The girls in the front are attentive and service is always with a smile. The have a breakfast combo for like $6 with a porridge!
