This place has okay food, they have a lot of options, but nothing special. The price is way too high. Portions are not very big either. It is nice for a more classy restaurant.
Trs dsapointant.
Very disappointing. This restaurant is so disappointing… I don’t know why people keep going there. The food is bad and the service is nothing to write home about. I’ve had better food at cafeterias.
Exceeded my expectations. Noisy and chaotic environment, a bit like bring on the set of Hell’s Kitchen. Restaurant is open, airy and beautifully sunlit. Service was about whet you’d expect from stressed out apprentices. My bavette looked like it was run over by an Abrams tank; they must have used some kind of mechanical tenderizer on it. The result was tender but ugly. Seafood pasta was fine, the shrimps and scallops not that overcooked. Dishes are quite pricy for what you get. I tried two desserts that were cooked in-house: the praline ice cream and the crme caramel. Both were excellent. Overall a good novelty experience but I’m not sure ill be in a hurry to return.
Don’t confuse this restaurant with the others, each has different decor, different chefs and different menu.L’academie shouldn’t be considered a franchise. Now as for L’academie St Denis, I can safely tell you that from my past experiences with the restaurant, that it is not good at all(from a food standpoint)If you guys want good food, go to l’Academie Brossard
Dependable BYOW. The food is decent, the decor is simple and chic and the service is usually really good.
