This is truly the worst Korean food I’ve ever tried. We ordered spicy beef soup, ginseng chicken, and seafood noodles. The soups were all salty, probably to mask the lack of flavour. The chunck of beef in my soup was tough! It’s usually shredded if made properly, and tender. The ginseng soup which cost $20 came with a very small amount of sweet rice, to make it worse, it was cold inside the chicken. The soup looked diluted with water, it also lacked the usual ginger chicken soup flavour. They make me wonder how they’re still in business. If you don’t ever see a Korean customer inside a Korean restaurant it should give you a hint that it is not worth your time nor money. I was the only Korean, the rest of the patrons from other Asian countries. The only authentic Korean restaurant in Montreal is Kagopa on St Jacques.
Pretty much the only Korean place in Brossard… It isn’t the best but it does the job. It tastes like homemade more than a restaurant. The side dishes are great. Yet it is always the same. D has been going to this place since it opened and the menu did not change. However, D still go there because it fixes the Korean craving. D loves the spicy rice cake (Teokbokki) the japchae, the beef cold noodle and the kimchi jjigae.
Probably the worst Korean food I’ve had. The rice cakes aren’t even defrosted properly; they’re all craked. The broth in my naengmyeon tasted like melted grape flavored popsicle. I also bought a box of their kimchi once and it got all slimy in a week. Sad.
