Been there twice, at lunch and in the evening. Service at both times were attentive and friendly. Food is comforting and well prepared. Lebanese and Armenian flavors are authentic. Everything was so fresh. And loved the warm pita that come to your table still puffed!
Flashy decor with little subtance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Absolutely gorgeous. With a setting like this, you’d think that the service and food must be impeccable — and you’d be wrong. We had the beets salad and it was good. I didn’t like the mouhamara which was very bland compared to what I’m used to. The octopus was okay although we had to cut it with a spoon since no service knife was provided or offered. As for the fried fish, it was actually pretty good. However, it was served with a handful of lame fries in a plate much too small for the fish — which means it was really difficult to eat (again, no utensils were provided despite this being a shared dish).Lastly, the shish kebab at $12 a skewer was just the worst beef tenderloin I’ve ever had at any price — and that includes the el cheapo Lebanese around the corner. Tough, chewy, overcooked and full nerves all at once. An insult to customers. We left the place thinking it was a real shame that such a beautiful restaurant offered such lousy food. And the service, while friendly, was barely adequate. For good Lebanese/Syrian food, you’d be much, much better served by places like Damas and Alep which offer outstanding food and service on each and every visit.
Fun spot if you are in the area. Great place for a dinner party or a large group that wants to share delicious mediterranean food in a trendy colorful decor. If not, for a business lunch that needs to be relaxed. Quite different from the rest, considering the area.
Really, really an amazing service. What a team of waiters, etc. food was great. We were 6 and had from fish to lamb. The outside terrasse was great too.
Save your money. There are far better Lebanese restaurants for far less money. If you want to pay for the decor, go here. If you want to eat well, go elsewhere. Over priced, under served. I wouldn’t go there again. Seats were comfortable though.
As a Lebanese living in Montreal area, i can tell this newly opened restaurant offers a variety of dishes with homemade taste and authenticity. 5/5 for food tasteAs for the prices, they fall between average to high but can be explained by the location (new hip sector of the dix30) and of course the quality.Decor is 5/5 trendy, chic but yet very simpleService i would rate 3.5/5 unexperienced local staff with lack of knowledge on the dishes/desserts.They also have an amazing terrace (note that the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor)You can order shisha on the terrace (25$ excluding the tip). The shisha waiter, a young gentleman called Mohamed) prepares it with his unique egyptian style.(The shisha are Khalil Maamoun brand rated #1 worldwide)This us my 2nd time there and will definitely go back again
