Great location in a small Quebec village. The atmosphere was friendly. Great choice of microbrewery beers. The food is not very good. Not my first time at this location. Needs great improvement in the kitchen. The fries appeared to have been cooked in very old oil. Beware when you are offered to taste your wine and you refuse the selection, we were charged 12.00$ for 2 tastings. The was finally corrected after refusing this charge.
Perfect location… meh everything else. Biscotti Cie has the potential to be great. They have an amazing location a beautiful charming caf.. but everything else leaves to be desired. The first time we went there I ordered two coffees and a slice of cake. I paid and stood around the cash for about 10 minutes waiting for the girls to tell me if I could sit down and they would bring it out to me or what… Seems gossiping was more important than the customers. Annoyed I finally left and went to sit down hoping I would get my drinks and cake at some point. I waited still another 10 minutes or so.. Really? How long does it take to make a latte??? Hoping to give them a second chance I went again a few weeks later. Order lattes and cake. This time at least they gave us a number so they would know where to bring our order. While we sat outside the girls were setting up the tables for clients and still gossiping and yammering on about co-workers and management. It just feels like these girls are so unprofessional. When we got out coffees and cake the cake tasted of onions!!!! That’s because they keep their cakes about 1 inch away from their sandwiches. It was disgusting! Keep the sandwiches in another fridge in the back, they don’t need to be on display. That was it for me! I prefer supporting small local places but if they can’t get their act together I will choose the smiling and professional baristas at Starbucks over this place anytime!
Beautiful and delicious. We stopped by after walking in Gatineau Park, and it was a perfect meal – lovely tables outside on the veranda overlooking gardens, with great food and pleasant service. Definitely will return, and recommend it to friends.
Mauvais service. Nourriture excellente et caf trs bon. Toutefois, le service laisse dsirer. J’y suis alle plusieurs reprises et l’attente est beaucoup trop longue, mme si ce n’est pas achaland. Leur faon de faire est inefficace; j’ai d attendre plus d’une demi-heure pour mon sandwich (alors que mon conjoint avait reu son assiette) … On m’avait oublie! Mme si une des serveuses tait passe multiples reprises notre table (on tait assis la grande table) pour servir d’autres personnes ou pour la nettoyer. Je prfre aller au Caf Les Saisons, qui est 2 minutes de marche.
Excellent! Le service est jeune et nergique , la place est acceuillante et confortable et la nourriture et le caf sont succulents :)) je recommande tous !
Wow! Great place and delicious food!. I went there a few days ago and it was an absolutely amazing experience. I LOVED the chicken panini, the minestrone soup and the carrot cake! We had very nice service and the staff were just lovely and welcoming. ps: You should try their latte, they are just delicious! WOW great job with the place! Sarah Lee
Confusing. Such a bizarre place. We’ve gone three times now, and while the food is undeniably good, the service is so horrible we will never go back. They’re always confused and overwhelmed (even when it’s not that busy), and very impolite. Last time we were ignored for 20 minutes after walking in (not even a hello) and we just left. Saisons Cafe a short walk away may be tiny but the hot drinks and service are spectacular! Surrounded by other very good establishments, I’ll be surprised if this new cafe survives for another year.
