Addicted! Seriously, last summer I had to take the long way home every other day because my willpower just wasn’t working. I love every flavour I’ve tried but ohmygod, the lemon cheesecake cassis is un-freakin-real!! I have no shame in saying that I could sit down with a bucket of it and just go to town.
la cigale:i went to la cigale today expecting a cute little ice cream parlour and it was exactly that! la cigale is impossible to miss when driving though old chelsea and after you get your ice cream cone, they have a big backyard with many colourful patio chairs. it’s just so cute and magical! they have soooo many flavours of ice cream including sorbet and milkshakes! today i got the mango sorbet (my personal favorite) and their raspberry cheesecake one. they were both delicious. my friend had the mint chocolate that she said it was creamy and really good! the only thing i have to say is that I recommend getting the waffle cones because the normal cones are really bland and kinda taste like paper. all in all i would defiantly recommend la cigale and will defiantly return back! i rate my overall experience here 10/10 :))
Came here with my mom and sister after a Mec trail race at camp fortune. I’d been here before but for them it was their first time. My mom couldn’t stop talking about the mango sorbet for days afterwards!!! This is the best ice cream in the ottawa/Gatineau areas. Prices are reasonable for the amazingness of the ice cream.
Icecream. Expensive but so so good. $6.08 for two scoops in a waffle cone. peanut butter chocolate, malted milk, ginger and chai, guiness and chocolate all good choices. i got the sorbet once and regretted it, still good but i now stick to the ice cream.

Sinfully Dreamy and Delicious. This is the best ice cream parlor I’ve ever been to… and I’ve been to many. The servers are incredibly sweet, fun and pleasant, and the ice cream is second to none – highly recommend the dulce de leche and the gingersnap chai.
The best ice cream ever. The long line up outside the door proves that. Definitely worth the wait to get in. If you go visit Gatineau Park, add this place on your itinerary.
