Use to go here every now and then to order the fish and chips, it was already a little bit pricey for fried food. Prices have increased again and won’t be going back. Most definitely not worth $50 for 2 plates of fish & chips that are mediocre at best.
My boyfriend made a reservation for 1 pm for our 1 year anniversary. He specifically asked for us to be seated at the table where we had our first date. On the phone, the waiter said there would be no issues. When we arrived at the restaurant, Lynn, the owner greeted us and asked us to take a seat a different table. We explained the whole situation and she said that it was IMPOSSIBLE that we made a reservation, because they dont do that. She then said, Its not about the parking lot view, its about gazing in each others eyes, which of course we knew, we just thought it would be special to sit at the same table (and we were confirmed that was going to happen). Overall, she used an extremely condescending tone, and even after reading in the reservations book and seeing that we were right, she said that everyone wanted that table and we could only sit there if it was available (which is literally the reason we called and reserved in the first place). She offered no apology whatsoever for the mix up and almost made it seem like it was our fault we wanted that table in the first place. Terrible customer service experience. Its not hard to read a reservations book or at least read it before saying its impossible and making us feel stupid. We understand that mix ups happen and running a restaurant is not the easiest thing. But a simple sorry would have gone a long way, especially knowing that it was a special day for us.

Fabulous food. We just returned from a holiday in Maine and were reluctant to eat fish inland again but knowing how good this restaurant is we treated ourselves . The meal was marvellous and rivalled the meals we had so close to the ocean. Pickerel chanterelle risotto was superb. This is a real little Chelsea gem.
Very impressed. We drove in to Chelsea and agreed to stop at the first restaurant we saw. I’m thrilled it was here! The decor and atmosphere is charming, the wait staff super friendly and the food was wonderful! Looking forward to visiting here again soon!
Fish and Chips to die for!. I don’t care for fish&chips…or so I thought! Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined how wonderfully delicate fish dipped in flour and deep fried could be until my dinner at Le Resto. Every mouth watering, flaky forkful (with just a hint of smokehouse essence) was an experience in gastronomic heaven! The chips are lovely and hot, just like your favourite wagon type and the cool green minty mushy peas are…well…cool green minty mushy peas…there for a bit of colour I think.Desserts are worth the calories and service is professional.One of my favourite spots.
