Went here last night. Beer wise the bier markt has better selection/prices, but menu wise they are on the same page with bier markt having a bit more diversity. I ate the marinated flank steak, and I have to say it’s one of the best flank steaks I’ve ever had. Marinated in dark beer with a peppercorn sauce. It was cooked almost to perfection and the flavour was great. Service was good, but there was a few flies around… I would go back, but just for the steak.

Balthazar burger was overly salted and pattie was tasteless. My celeri-rave soup wasnt flavorful and i was only able to have a bit since it tasted of floor thickening and cream. .. Rolling in my mouth. Salmon tartare was unproperly seasoned and seemed to have only dijon mustard mixed with it. Beers are their specialty, staff is friendly, but after a giving them a second chance. Dont waste yr money
Une perle!. Petite perle du Centropolis. Tous des bires du Qubec pour tous les gots!! Le staff trs ”laid-back et prsent en mme temps”. Un service rapide et judicieux. Ils sont trs l’coute lorsqu’on demande de se faire conseiller.

Quiet Sunday night. Friendly bar tender great craft beer selection. Flank steak, veggies and salad were spot on!!
Bon, 14h00, j’ai faim, je dcide d’essayer Balthazar au centropolis. Il y avait 8 personnes mon arrive, c’est normal cet heure un mardi. Un serveur lunette me suggre de prendre la table que je veux, j’ai en masse de choix. Service un peu ordinaire, je consulte le menu, j’ai des question, j’essaye d’attirer son attention mais il est occup danser en parlant avec quelqu’un dans la cuisine. Il fini par me voir. Je commande le Trio du Terroir en entre, un Fish and chips et une biere Griffintown de la brasserie du vieux Montral. La bire est excellente, bien froide, parfait. J’espre, l’tablissement se spacialise en bieres quebecoises. L’entre consiste en trois morceaux de pat comme on trouve pe-emball au Mtro ou IGA, avec la glatine sur le dessus, vous savez?…le tout accompagn d’une salade pas fraiche et brunie. Fish and chips assez gnreux mais trop cuit et huileux. Les frites taient ok. Dans le menu on vente la sauce tartare maison mais il n’y en avait pas dans mon assiette??? J’ai du en demander?. Tout compte fait j’aurais d aller ailleurs.
