When I was in Montreal early June, visited this place recommended by my cousin. Went 3 times! Loukamades (Greek donuts) at Mr Puffs are the best! Freshly made out of fryer & you can choose topping (cinnamon sugar, Nutella, strawberry, hazelnut, etc)…combine with an iced Nescaf latte or ice coffee drink . Prices not bad for box of 12, 30, 50. Good to bring for potluck or share with a group of people. You will not be disappointed. The texture is like a churro but chewy/fluffy inside.

Le point positif chez Mr. Puffs, c’est de pouvoir manger des beignes frits sur demande, donc bien chauds. Toutefois, aprs deux ou trois boules, je me suis tanne (moi qui peux manger 2-3 ptisseries une aprs l’autre)… Je pense que le problme dans ma commande, c’tait que mes beignes n’taient pas assez cuits. Bon, soit c’est de la malchance, soit Mr. Puffs n’est simplement pas mon got! 😛
Tried my first Loukoumades from Mr. Puffs recently, and I don’t regret overeating! With a variety of flavours, you can’t go wrong with these fluffy, warm and soft pastries. They have good prices as well.Would definitely recommend and really good for catering!
If you like fried dough this is for you ! Simply sweet and addictive but gets you full in seconds. There’s a few varieties of these loukoumade (Greek doughnuts). Give it a try.
Mr. Puffs is also available in food truck! D&G took one order to share but we think we did the wrong move! The order is big enough to feed a family 12 puffs with chocolate noisette sauce! After 2-3 puffs, you already feel full imaging more…D&G would be so much happier if we have an option to get a smaller order…
Very good dessert, too bad it tastes better while still warm! Everywhere I’ e taken a box it was a hit, specially the chocolate ones with the kids! Each Puff has less calories than a Timbit at Tim Horton’s!
