For those of you complainers, ghis id a place that fits 500 people and if you show up on a saturday night without a reservation, chances are, you will not get in. For the last 20 years, i have visited this restaurant and the food is considered very good. It is true it is a resto aimed more towards dancing ambiance, so do not expect a service of a full course meal resto. But it is very acceptable.
I quickly understood this is not a restaurant. It’s a social club for arabs and lebanese. Do not expect service, even basic water glasses are hard to comeby. Empty plates are not taken off tables. Service is really the worst. Their meat platters are okay at best and the appetizers were good. Anyways only go there to dance and have a good time. Certainly not for a meal!
I’m not one to complain. But the service was horrible. It was obvious the waiter did not want to be there. The table was full of plates all night and we kept asking them to clean it with no success.
Never again. The food was too salty….The service was very poor….coat check was $4….
Really Good!. Lordia is great. Good ambiance and food. Stays open til 3-4 a.m on friday/saturday!**** I saw the reviews and one guy said they take 4$ to hang your coat, THATS NOT TRUE. It’s just 1$ and you can just as well put your jacket on the back of your chair.
Never again. It was definitely not worth the $35.00 for the meal. The service was very impersonal, the waiters were not around at all. Basically dropped off the food on the table & never came by again. Food was really poor, lacked flavor & presentation. We started being served at about 8:30pm and the main plate did not get served until midnight. The table was not cleared between courses. This is one place I am not visiting ever again
The food is good, alcohol and shisha are waaaaayyyyyy overpriced and these thieves have the nerve to charge a 4$ coat check! 4$!!!!!!! And that’s for each coat! Go to Princessa on Cur-Labelle instead. Same concept, much better food and they won’t openly steal your money right as you walk in.
