It was super early in the am when my connecting flight landed and our large group needed a place to refuel and just hang out in our 6 hour layover. This place was open and had the space to accommodate us.The service was friendly but i will admit i think they were eager to have us leave after our meal, despite not having anyone waiting to get in or any signs of costomers in sight at that early hour. We ordered more coffee and made the most of the venue.I had oj…not fresh but at that time in the am i didnt give a damn and smoked salmon on baguette with scrambled eggs. I removed the cheese as i didnt want to risk a lactose incident on my next plane.Food was decent but i was so hungry and tired im not sure if it was my ravenous pallet or it was actually pretty good.Everyone seemed to be happy with their meals. We were about 16 people so thats a plus. Its an airport so the only way id come back is if i was stuck in this airport again.
Spouse and I came for lunch Thursday. Both of us opted for the burgers. My spouse had the spicy burger with poutine.I had the goat cheese mushroom burger. I must say I thought my burger was awesome! Who would have thought goat cheese on a burger would have been so delicious? The only down side of the burger was the amount of mushrooms. Not many at all. The poutine was very good as well. The menu was impressive. Many items you would not expect at an airport, such as duck breast , blood sausage and beef cheeks. I wish we had more time to try these items. Our server Jessica was very friendly and efficient.
Great pub food!! Fish and chips were above average. Great selection of microbrew beers. Bison tataki was also good but may be salty for some. They made a salad not on the menu including a selection of leaf lettuce , grape tomatoes and a simple but flavourful vinaigrette .
Good menu with many appetizing options but expensive airport prices. Very busy: if you’re just interested in drinks, you must sit at the bar, you’re not allowed to get a table. Poutine was tasty but cold: I didn’t ask them to heat it up again because I had to catch my flight out and the service was so slow. The server was nice but it took a long time to get my food. Not worth almost $20.
