The pizza was good. But to be rated number 5 out of 10 as best pizza in Montreal – no. Cool concept, you do feel like you’re in italy; italian radio playing and good choice of italian products. We had the margherita, potato/salame calabrese, eggplant/garlic/oil and spicy sausage with cheese. The crust was burnt on my corner slices and the dough wasn’t the best I’ve had. We also had an Arancini which was delicious. 4 slices of pizza and arancini coated 25$ – reasonable! We were satisfied.
I’ve been to Italy many times and let me tell you this pizza resembles the one found in the motherland. The best in Montreal and Laval. Great quality at a great price. I’ve compared this to San Gennaro and Gema in la petite italie and there’s no comparison. More toppings, bigger slices, lower price. Also the dough is much better here. When I want an authentic taste of Italy I know where to buy my pizza. Grazie.
