Not very good. Service was very slow even though the place is small and my food wasn’t close to being hot. I had the ribs and chicken combo. It should have had two pieces of fried chicken but I got one nice piece of chicken breast and the tiniest little leg. The ribs were overdone and I thought I was going to break a tooth on the jersey fries , they were so hard.
Yummylicious :-). Sunday night out with the family a few weeks ago at LE BLAKS was definitely the NO. 1 best dining choice we made in a long time! Let’s set up the evening for you : we were a group of 6 and the age range was 14-81 which included picky eaters, vegetarians, food allergies and gluten intolerance ::: you get the picture! All I can say is that our experience was absolutely delectable! From the starters to the dessert we ate our way to food-bliss and back! The first bite of goodness was the tower of onions and their signature sour cream sauce which was out of this world! The ribs were succulent and the portions were extra generous. Chicken was juicy, tender and extremely well-seasoned. Salads were abundantly green and fresh — alive with variety. The pulled pork poutine was OMG-forget-the-diet-tonight-delicious. Wine selection was paired to the menu and their original cocktails were delightful! For dessert, we ordered the mini mason jars filled with scrumptious cheesecakes that were just enough to give your sweet tooth the sugar tease it desired! HOWEVER — there is something I find very important to underline : prior to making our reservation I checked out this site to read what others thought – not that any of their reviews would influence my decision in the least – but just wanted an overall idea in general. How surprised I was to arrive at a place that completely negated any of the unfavourable reviews. Someone actually TOOK the time to right a comment about how you should NOT waste your time writing a review…how ironic?!? Anyways, it was worth the drive, worth the money and worth the time to invest in a quality family evening with the BLAKS gang. Personally, the only true review worth my while was the one I received first-hand from my satisfied stomach and satiated appetite 🙂 Le Blaks No 1 was an overall amazing experience complete with a staff that served us with the biggest smiles and the warmest hearts. Are we going back? Indeed we are…and not soon enough!!!

BLAH…. Nothing special about the food…. super greasy….like overly greasy…. my father took their short rib, which is slow cooked, as they say in menu… but it was clearly frozen and re-heated and smothered in tomato sauce… yuk… nothing seems fresh….not impressed, people around here say its the best BBQ restaurant around… I guess they don’t go out much because it is NOT the case…. I tried it 3 separate times, to give them a chance but no… every time it was the same….I wont recommend this place…. don’t get all excited to try it like I did, you’ll be greatly disappointed…

Absolutely Delicious!. Went for a late night dinner with my husband. Received a warm greeting from the owner. Wonderful personality. Great service from the waiter. The food was absolutely terrific. Traditional menu choices with original twists. Terrific ingredients thrown in for interest and flavor! Beautiful presentation. Great prices. Will absolutely return. SO GLAD to finally have good food choices in the area. Great looking terrace. Looking forward to the summer! Cant wait to go back and try something else off the menu. Not to be missed!!
Great menu, passionate service. When my 15 year old nephew says, Uncle John, you’ve gotta try the Toro Burger, I know I’m gonna enjoy my meal…My wife had Le Blaks chicken burger and she loved it! I had the nachos and I can say that I’ve never had such a delicious combination of ingredients and the home made sauce was awesome….The staff was so friendly, and the owners came by to greet us and you can tell that they’re passionate about the service they provide their clientele. The food was fresh and flavorful, the ambiance laid back and friendly, the menu was simple and reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Liked it so much, we’ve reserved again and invite four friends to experience our new local spot.
