This is not what I was expecting, when we went there the first time. I never go to buffets, because I think that they really overcharge us, for the choice and quality of the food. It always feels like hospital cafeteria food. I live in Montreal, and I was there on business, with my partner, who wanted to go there, so we did. I am so happy that I decided to go. What a shock when you walk in, and you have so many amazing things to look at, as far as decoration goes, it’s unbelievable. Of course, we weren’t there for the decorations, we were there for lunch. of all the BUFFETS that I have ever went to, this one is definitely the best. Great choices, great taste, great service, etc…Now, every time we are there on business, it’s a place we go to for lunch, every day. Congrats !Barbara McCann.
Food is mediocre at best, I keep giving you chances and returning just to be disappointed every time except for the first time I’ve ever been there! I’m not sure if I went on a certain day of the week where they had a better cook but I’ve been there over 15 times since because my wife likes going there and I’ve had to throw out my food every time. They are Chinese rice is grounding him soya sauce, they are General Tao chicken taste like it’s been cooked in the barrel of pineapple juice everything is just so upsetting and disappointing every time I go. I’m going to take one last chance today and go and hope for the best, I really hope today is not a waste of moneyBig Shawn
We went here for weekend brunch. It isn’t terrible and for the price you can’t go wrong compared to other brunch buffets at $16.99, where as some are like $30 a head. The eggs were standard scrambled hotel-style eggs (probably powdered), eggs benedict wasn’t too bad, French toast melt in your mouth, and the smoked meat was good. There was honestly a lot of things to try, we were overwhelmed by the selection. Bacon and sausage was good, pasta was okay, they had mozzarella sticks, etc.We did not care for the omelettes or frittata, they were overcooked and rubbery. The mussels in black bean sauce were so-so, the mussels were overcooked so there weren’t a lot of mussel meat in them – I did like the sauce it was in. The Chinese food shouldn’t even be called that, it was terrible. I had a taste of their general tso chicken and it was honestly the most disgusting thing ever.Other than those, there was just so much food and so little place to put them in. There was a whole section for making omelettes and for pizza! They also give out popcorn and cotton candy to kids, but we’re kids at heart so got the cotton candy. :pService was crap though, you had to chase the waiters down for refills on drinks. Soft drinks are non-refillable. Also if you hate children at restaurants you should avoid this place because there’s a bunch running around everywhere. It’s a very big restaurant but very cramped too in my opinion. Luckily we weren’t seated upstairs because that could have been dangerous carrying plates of food up there!
My wife works there… they take advantage of her… u would not believe… Management is not good at all… they call her in for work she works 1 hour and halfand then she is sent home. Bus ticket to and back $8 dollars… she makes 10 dollars and hour. Going to work for nothing not the first time… they are treated like numbers. When the restaurant is full… the money floats in the air…But when it’ s slow… they are in bad mood … because the money is not coming in fast enough. Without his staff, he s got nothying..
This has to be one of the worst buffets i have ever eaten at. The concept is interesting, but there is just no way to cook that much food and any of it be tasty. I literally watched two seperate times people vomit after eating there. If your in the mood for a specific kind of food, go to a buffet restaurant for that kind of food, its guarantee’d to be better then this horrible pile of an excuse of cooking (or complete lack thereof).
Contrairement ce que la plupart de mes amis disent, moi j’aime bien le Buffet des Continents!! J’aime la varit et quand j’y vais il y a toujours de quoi de neuf essayer!! J’y retournerais n’importe quand , quand je suis dans le mood d’un buffet! J’ai surtout aim quand j’y suis alle au printemps pour ma fte et qu’il y avait de la tire sur neige volont!! Le dcor est trs beau compar d’autres buffets qui n’ont pas t rnovs depuis les annes ’80! recommender!
