I.ve been going to this restaurant for over I think its 30 years now. I have to say as a family run business the place rocks. No its not beautiful inside but it is clean. The main reason I have gone there time and time again is simple the food is absolutely amazing. Chicken on a hot iron plate is nice and spicy like I love it. Their egg rolls are really difficult to beat. Believe me i have tried and it does not matter if I lived in the east end of Ottawa in Orleans for a while I still found myself going back to Lucky Inn for their food. Now mind you if you are in a hurry to get your food this is not a fast food joint. No it takes time to get everything prepped and ready for you so if you are thinking of Chinese take out expect to wait a while before going to pick up your order. Unfortunately the owner Chef is close to retirement and that means that no one will be taking over the restaurant. I dread the day when I see a sign that say’s closed.

Service was slow and indifferent, food was overcooked, served just warm, and bland for the most part. I can’t speak for my friend and her daughter, but I doubt my family will be back.
Un vrai bon resto Chinois !. Le btiment l’air de rien, mais la nourriture est vraiment dlicieuse ! Je le recommande fortement !

Best of the Best. I am a client of Lucky Inn since 1979. This is the best chineese restaurant I know in the region. I never fouind another one like this one. I refer alot of people to that restaurant and up to know no one regrets having their lunch at Lucky Inn.
