Too expensive. I love Hooters. I lived most of my life in Florida, not far from the original. I was really happy to find out that there was a Hooters here in Montreal, where I live now. When I went, I found the atmosphere to be roughly similar, and the wings are decent. The poutine wasn’t bad. The waitresses were really, really nice. I just can’t get over the sticker shock. Even with the 9.99 wing special, by the time we had a couple – non alcoholic – drinks, and a poutine, our bill was over $60. Just not worth it, by any means. I’ll wait until winter, drive down to Florida, and go to a real Hooters with the money I save from not going to this one.
Horrible management. I called in the afternoon asking if I could reserve a table for me and my friends to watch the ufc event. A girl answered and then told me they take no reservations, she then added we could probably get a table if we got there in time for the hockey game. So we get there and we get a table, eat, order beer, etc.. at the beginning of the event our waitress tell us that the whole bar has been reserved and we would have to leave apparently we were supposed to have been warned.We then speak to the manager and explain the situation, he said we had to leave and offered no help at all, he was escorted by a shady guy calling himself a client.
All you can eat wings for $9.99 on monday nights… What more could you ask for???
