  DONT EAT HERE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR AUTHENTIC HAITIAN FOOD. So i decided to eat here 2 times before giving it a bad review. I guess if your not used to eating haitian food then the place might be great for you, but for someone like my self who loves authentic Haitian food i was really disappointed. As i entered the Casse-croute the first thing i noticed was the lack of aroma. I felt like i was walking into a fridge … i would have never guessed they were even cooking back there…maybe reheating food in the microwave? so that was the first turn off for me. The second would defiantly be the rice, like im going to a Haitian spot im not trying to eat no basemati or jasmine rice that was cooked in a rice cooker …no i want du riz coll! Also i feel like their meat portions in the plate were way too small and was undercooked. I tried the griot and the fried chicken…there was defiantly a huge lack in flavour. Not to mention the picklis was NOT on point at all…i think it was a coleslaw and defiantly had no spice in in at all…which leads me to believe that this lack of flavour could possibly be on purpose..Thinking that over 90% of their clientele is not Haitien and does not really know that authentic flavor could be complaining its too spicy, or who knows ….all i know if that i would not recommend this spot to anyone. I would recommend BBQ CREOLE on grand alle their a bit pricey but well worth it..you walk into their restaurant and its like i walked right into the caribbean, i was literally sweating from the spices ,,,,,anyways i wasn’t on here to big up BBQ CREOLE just want to let y’all know whats up with the TASSOT ….
