If you are in the market for a depressing drinking hole then this is the place for you, otherwise, invest your money somewhere better! Hubby and I ate here on a Saturday evening. Walked in and greeted by friendly (tipsy) regulars at the door. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. We opted for upstairs first because the main floor was so dark and dreary. Upstairs was over-lit, full of dirty tables and the music was too loud. So back downstairs we went. The place was so dark we couldnt read the menu without the lights on our phones! Would it kill them to put tea light candles on the tables and create an atmosphere and give us some light? Our server was phony and clearly in it for the tip. The food was sad. We ordered a burger and the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich. Fries were undercooked and greasy. We sat next to the bar and the bartender clearly believed that it was bring your boyfriend to work night! He sat at the bar for the couple of hours that we were there, and she focused solely on him and/or texted in plain view of all between drink making. The manager was incompetent. He stood at the door of the kitchen and did nothing and then sat down at the bar to have dinner in plain view of customers! This guy should be walking around making sure everything runs smoothly (maybe clean the tables upstairs) and that customers are happy. He was clearly incompetent. The chef also just stood at the door between cooking… The attitude of the staff was unprofessional and lackadaisical at best. Of course this is a neighborhood pub and the expectations for fine dinning are low, but the staff are clearly uninterested, and, as a result, the food is blah and the ambiance even worse. We will never go back.

Went in last night with a few friends to watch the Canadiens/Flyers game and first off the atmosphere in this place was amazing, very friendly staff and GREAT food and beer! Secondly, We were served by Bryanna and she was amazing, told us the weekly specials, put our orders through very quickly and was always very pleasant throughout our whole Cunningham’s Pub experience. This is the best spot in Hudson hands down!!! I will definitely be returning! Keep it up Cunningham’s:)
