Overrated. Ordered regular poutine this past weekend after reading all the rave reviews. Truthfully the gravy is good, as are the cheese curds but the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. Forcefully jamming fries down in container leads to mushy fries but I did appreciate the effort to give me a generous portion but affects quality of food.

Loooove this place. Poutine highly recommended!. I am a poutine-addict. And as a result, never pass up an opportunity to try different restaurants. Without exception, La Pataterie Hulloise offers the very best poutine in the region. The cheese curds are fresh, the fries are prepared perfectly, the gravy is rich, and each poutine is layered with all these good things. Don’t miss this spot – it’s a gem.
Great poutine and solid bison burger. They fill the poutine half-way, load up on gravy and curds, then add the final batch of fries to do the same. The end result is gooey and delicious. The curds are squeeky, the sauce as you’d expect, and the fries were peeled potatoes seemingly not ten minutes before my order. Neither really crispy nor soggy. The family size is a monstrosity.The bison burger was very good. I went all dressed, which included bacon and coleslaw in the topping. Tasted salty. Made me think of Five Guys.
WOW to the portions and the cheese. Great poutine, lots of cheese (not just on top but also in the middle). Surprisingly not too salty. The standard sauce is better than the white one (that one is a bit on the bland side). VERY friendly and bilingual service. Steamed Hot Dogs and Pogos are also above average !
