Passion, cheerful and knowledgable!. This is the place to go to discover the world of tea and it’s many facets. The always cheerful staff is highly knowledgable and is very good at finding what you’ll like. The owner Daniel, travels once a year to personnaly meet the tea vendors weather it be in china, japan or other interesting places. That way, you always have variety and exclusive products you definatly won’t find anywhere else!If you want real tea, it’s the place to be!Great ambiance, delicious homemade treats ( love the scones!)

Customer review. Cha yi is the best tea house in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Located on the Quebec side of the Ottawa River, it is a subtle place for quiet contemplation, chatting with a friend or reading. The cheerful and amiable staff are tea purists, cultured and entirely down to earth. The teas are delicious and accompanied by delicious home-made snacks. You can also buy tea accessories and there is a patio in the summer.
