The waiter was kind of rude when he was asked questions about the menu – he did not seem very welcoming. We did not have any napkins and we waited 10 minutes to receive warm tap water. I’ve also noticed there was a big house centipede when I went in the bathroom D: …the pad thai was actually pretty good but they charge extra ~2$ for seafood (shrimp) which the waiter did not warn me about – their menu is also confusing and there are no price tag beside each item. In total, I paid over 20$ (including 13% tip) for one plate of pad thai.Experience in general: very deceiving and not worth going. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!
NEVER COME HERE EVER. Worst customer experience, the servers were super rude and told us that if we didnt like their service that we should NEVER COME BACK and go eat at McDonalds instead. We tried to speak to the manager and tell him that the servers were behaving like this, and he told us that we were lying about how long we waited and then told us to leave. The server then lied and said we were trying to get out of paying at the manager GRABBED us by the jackets and snatched the credit card out of my hand. It was so disrespectful and at the end, they didnt even give us all our food. By far the WORST experience I have ever had, and I would advise if you want Thai, to check out the two Thai restaurants in the mall or the Green Papaya nearby. They are so rude and both physically and verbally abusive, I wish I had called the police!
Bring your appetite for this family run restaurant! All you can eat small portions. Great food and service! The chef/owner’s daughter recommended the place at the hotel we were staying…
Are you kidding me!!!! This place is great. Do the all you can eat menu and experience many things on the menu in small portions. I met the owners and they are very nice.
Quel horrible service!. Nous aviosn rserv la Maison Samorn, nous tions un groupe de 12. Nous avons t tellement mal reus! Premirement, nous avons attendu une vingtaine de minutes pour obtenir des verres d’eau, nous n’avons pas eu les desserts pourtant compris dans la table d’hte du midi, et ce, sans que personne ne juge bon de l’indiquer ni d’offrir un remplacement ni un rabais et enfin, quand ma voisine de table a fait remarquer au serveur que son rouleau frit tait carrment froid, il lui a tout bonnement rpondu que ce n’tit pas son problme lui et qu’il faudrait qu’elle attende la serveuse principale. C’tait certainement ma dernire visite chez eux.
Great place! I like shrimp!. The food was fresh and came in large portions! Lots of shrimp in my dish. The service was friendly and fast and the patio had a nice fresh breeze. I will definitely go again!
My favourite thai is the region! Although not the best for soups and pad thai, this restaurant’s curries, appetizers and stir fry are the best!Great price/quality ratio
