I use to go there and like both the food and service. However I had a bad case of food poisoning recently and was sick in bed for 3 days. I ordered a vegetarian 5 choices and a side of chicken. I’m pretty sure the chicken was the culprit.

Slow, arrogant service – better to go to one of many other Lebanese places. I have been going to this place off and on for some time. Once in while the service is ok but most of the time they are very slow. What is most annoying is that they are very stingy when it comes to servings. Lebanese culture is very giving where they make sure you are not hungry. But the people at this restaurant act very cheap. There is one guy in particular (a relatively young, short fellow) who charges extra if you want a little bit more of the hummus. Hummus! It isn’t even that expensive. He picks up one little teaspoon of it and will put it on the plate. If you ask for more, then he has the gall to say he will charge extra. All in all, the people at this restaurant need to learn that you don’t treat your customers this way. So my advice is to find one of the many other places (even other Amir’s) in the West Island. There is a really nice Lebanese place at Marche L’Ouest run by a husband/wife team. They are very generous, friendly and accommodating. And yes, they will give you extra of anything you want, and they have the simple decency not to ask for more money.Bottom line — avoid the Kirkland Amir on St. Charles until they shape up. I’ll give them one more chance next month and get back with another posting.

Great for lunch. Great and healthier fast food for lunch, good food at good price.

Food taste awful and service is bad!!!

Food is not bad but the service is garbage! I was told to pick a bag which didn’t even belong to me and threw the money on the table and took the food back from me when I refused.
