This restaurant is owned by a real Japanese. The owner is also the chef. The food is quite traditional. It tastes good. Their lunch menu is a great deal. The same items you get at night will cost double the price. Therefore, if you have time, go try it during weekday lunch time!

I have been to this place a few times. I only go there when I have a day off and can go for their lunch special. The cost of the lunch combo is top ~$15. I always order my favorite where you can get sashimi of yellow tail, tuna, octopus, salmon, friend egg, white fish and crab stick with some rice. It comes with a salad, soup, and a scoop of ice cream at the end. (see their full menu online).I find their price to be fair compare to a lot of sushi places which I find quite $$. There aren’t a lot of places which serves some good fresh yellow tails either. The quality of the fish is pretty good. I am comparing this to the sushi from the experience I had in japan. Obviously it can’t compare to the best you can have in Japan like Otoro (fat tuna) but Yasu’s fish taste something decent in Japan.KT

Shusi ordinaire. Dd

SO GOOD. FAVORITE Sushi restaurant Very authentic. it’s very home style, don’t expect AMAZING service or anything, but the owner is adorable and I just love the food there! And veryyy cheap for what it is!

Patience required. Food was good but service was looooooooooong. Be prepared to wait a good hour and more before getting your sushis as there is only 1 chef and of course the take-out orders gets priority. Last time the whole meal lasted a good two+ hours…. 15 minutes ordering, 1.5h of waiting, 15 minutes eating.
