Hidden gem in the Lasalle area, delicious and authentic. The food is amazing and for an Italian to say that, it’s because this place definitely stands out. I’ve always had to reserve quite in advance since it’s usually busy. Linguine with seafood is my fave! The meatballs are amazing, the pasta is fresh. The only negative: a little pricey. I feel like the price went up recently… an Italian who has to spend over $20 on a pasta dish, not sure I’d go as often as I used to. Highly recommend.

Friends. A gathering of friends can take place at any place and there is very little chance that the gathering will not in itself be the success of the night. In this case when 5 couples were asked which restaurant to go, I immediately told everyone that the company not the place would make the evening so I had no problem driving to lasalle to this place I and 7 other people never heard about.Then you enter this place and you feel something different. Alright then we meet and chat and this fellow who presents himself as Dino starts his magic. Can’t be I am not in a part of town known for its restaurants and night life. Then we get the entres, most of which is made by them and you get the treatment usually enjoyed by the 1%. So now you are tantalized and wonder about the main dish. So I split the lamb and casserole seafood plate with my wife and we are taken aback. This place is genuine, fresh honest and professional. The art of dining is well served within these walls. You cannot regret choosing an evening out at La Campagnola. The 5*star rating is not by fluke nor whim. It is earned and deserved. Congrats to the wonderful team of professionals who made our evening beyond expectations.Emilio
Probably the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. Where do I begin….the food is INCREDIBLE. We had some antipasti, including homemade prosciutto, salami, cheeses, and figs, all were tasty and amazing. Not to mention the calamari (which were a little rubbery I’m afraid), and the exquisite salmon tartar…that was to die for. Main dish was the veal parm, which was very tasty and cooked to perfection, with the right amount of cheese on it. The homemade linguini on the side were also very good, too much in fact for me to finish. Peanut buster dessert was lovely jubbly as well, very fluffy and not too heavy. The service: absolutely incredible. I never thought it was possible to be treated so well at a restaurant. La Campagnola exceeded my expectations in this regard…example: one of us asked if it was possible to have our food doggie bagged, and the waitress was worried if our friend didn’t like it! Her concern was a good example of how they care for their customers and how well thy treat them. Our waiters were on the ball the whole night, seeing to our every need and very knowledgeable of their menu. Well done for the service. Overall, this place is highly recommended and has immediately become a favorite!

Humm I dunno. I used to go here regularly and always found the food delicious and the service even more amazing. There is this one guy who presents the available cuts of meat and fish for the evening at your table and he is so entertaining! I always went with my boyfriend and so for my sister’s birthday I suggested having the party there so everyone could try it. I don’t know if it was because it was a weekday ( I had never been on a weekday) or what but my food was actually inedible! Our waiter was slow, had no personality and a few people did not enjoy the experience. I must admit I have not been back since since I was mortified about having suggested this to so many people. I am not sure if I will give it another try :s
