Not what i was expecting…. So ordered the lemon chicken.. it isn’t lemon chicken? its this weird deep fried chicken with ketchup sauce…was really gross and greasy couldn’t eat it. on top of that it was cold and soggy…. the rice was hard and they said that we would get an egg roll but they gave us a spring roll instead which wasn’t the worst but wasn’t that great.overall the meal was bad and it was pretty expensive for just ketchup and poorly deep fried chicken.would never eat here again.service was hard as well. it took them a good 10 minutes to take our order and repeating what we wanted and then said we didn’t tip enough which is ridiculous. since we gave them 5$ tip on a $25 meal.
Quaint place and great food. The general tao chicken actually has nice white chicken and not like most places with just batter. Dumplings in peanut sauce is delicious, Spicy shrimps, sesame chicken, delicious! Its a great place. I recommend it. It is no longer called Maison Yu but HARMONIE ORIENTALE.
