GRIOT GRIOT GRIOT!!!. Si vous avez eu la chance de manger de bon griot dans votre vie, vous savez qu’il est difficile d’en trouver dans le sud ouest de la ville!Ce ft donc une merveilleuse surprise pour moi et mon amoureux de dcouvrir ce petit resto de ville Lassalle.On y retourne pas pour l’ambiance ou le dcor, mais pour le service chaleureux et l’excellent GRIOT!!Nous y sommes alls vers midi, en ayant un peu peur que le resto soit ferm, mais finalement la propritaire tait dj aux fourneaux!Huuumm! Quel rgal! Nous avons trop command et en avons donc ramen la maison. Deux jours plus tard, le porc tait encore juteux et le riz savoureux.Seul petit bmol: le picklies tait pas assez fort notre gout. Mais le gentil serveur nous a expliqu que c’tait possible de l’ajuster au gout du client.Nous le saurons pour la prochaine fois!
Great food.fresh salad. Thd plaintain was dry but. Everything else was delicious. Good portions. Best griot. A must.
Horrible! Ordered food to go, the rice was so dry it was almost as they forgot to cook it. The plantain was dry but still managed to dripp oil! The salad was just that salad and red peppers nothing else no dressing no oil no lemon. The chicken was fried, oily and bland. The pork was also dry and barely salted not to mention that there were only around 6 tiny pieces of pork and bad rice to feed an entire family. This was not my first time trying haitien food but was deffinetly the worst experience ever
The side salad was fresh, but I found they were stingy with the sauce portion and the griot was composed of a lot of bad pieces (lots of fat). The red bean rice and plantains were good… But would’ve been great with more sauce!!
Excellent. Nous avons ador notre exprience ce restaurant. Belle ambiance, personnel trs sympathique et la nourriture tait dlicieuse. Les portions sont gnreuses. Je le recommande tous.
Assiette de griot. I ordered from them for the first time last week and the food was awesome…I am ordering again tonight!!!!
