Lunch with my husband. We live in the area and 1st time we decided to go eat there for lunch. My husband ordered ravioli, and I had the chicken ceasar salad. It was a long wait considering that the restaurant was not so busy. I was not impressed, the salad was wilted and covered up with caesar sauce, nothing special, the ravioli sauce was ok by italian standards and ravioli seemed frozen type not homemade. The waitress seemed like she didn’t like her job, never asked if we wanted extra cheese and the water caraf was a few steps away but we had to ask for water refill, and she took on an order before filling up our water glass..waitress never came over to ask if anything was needed during our meal etc..at the end of our lunch, she came over to ask if we wanted coffee or dessert but it was included with our lunch, she could have phrased it differently. We had dessert and the coffee came to the table only after we finished all the dessert, seems to me that the dessert should be enjoyed with coffee!! To top all this off this lunch was not worth 50$ and service i thought was terrible. I will never go back there again.
I have been to this restaurant several times but only because its near by and a place to eat some decent wood oven pizza and its more or less the only thing I recommend since really pizza isn’t all that hard to make but I have had way better. The place is nice and so is the service but ill have to say other than that the food is not so good. The sauce they use on the gnocchi pasta and other pastas are all the same plains and tastes as if it just came out of the can ACIDIC. The rest of the cooks food isn’t all that good either and I don’t mean to be rude I normally do not criticize since I would expect a restaurant like this to be good. They just need to spice up the food in the kitchen a bit more. It’s very popular among the French community nonetheless but not for me.
