Ask for Your Steak Burnt if you want it Medium. The service at this restaurant is ok. The restaurant is very expensive for what you get. The table d’hote is just as expensive as ordering off the menu?? The amuse bouche was a dried up watermelon with salt (it was nothing to write home about). My husband ordered Filet medium and I ordered the rib eye. I asked that they cook it medium well. Well, there was blood throughout the steak. I could not eat half of it. The food here is not great. My appetizer was also cold in the centre and the sauce was overwhelming. My husband’s filet was very bloody. I think they don’t understand that some people don’t like their steak still moving, they would prefer that all the blood is gone. His fries were also cooked in truffle oil. I tried one of his fries (looked like they were frozen btw) and it was horrible. The flavour is too overwhelming. Honestly the only thing I liked of the whole entire meal was the sauce that accompanied the steak, it made the food edible. Otherwise the food was not worth the money we paid. Its funny, there was a lady and gentleman beside us and the lady was friends with the chef and I even heard her complain to her partner that her steak was not cooked enough for her liking. I will never go here again and would recommend that everyone avoid this place.
