We had the braised ribs which we thought were okay (7.5/10), the sauce was tasty. We also had the lobster risotto which was my choice, it was a part of the daily special coming over 30 dollars. Although the taste was fine, it was nothing special, the consistency of the risotto was too thick and the rice was slightly under cooked and the lobster was a bit over cooked, not worth the thirty two dollars.
Service was great. Quaint little spot. Our salad and dessert were bursting with flavor, and our entree was bland and a bit cold. We had ordered the chicken and trout dishes. I would go again for the salad though. It was great.
Disappointing. Service is very attentive however, if you are dining with children ages 8-12, spaghetti portions are very small and children left hungry after a good day of skiing. Kids loved their spagetti with butter, but for its simplicity it would have been nice to see more than a small swirl of noodles on their plate for $10. A child-friendly soup or veggie plate would be a smart addition. My husband and I thought our dinners were just ok. I had the cornish hen, which was very was bland. My husband had the stuffed chicken with goat cheese, but didn’t see any goat cheese and was quite boring. Nice, friendly staff, beautiful and quaint, but in need of a new Chef.
My first visit. I was impressed at my food; all 3 courses. I had the lamb. The place is very nice as well.
