Visiting Quebec City? Enough of the hordes of tourists in the Vieux Quebec? Then head to rue Cartier and stop by Blaxton. A typical bar/ pub/ restaurant with excellent service, terasse, a variety of beers, music.
Cartier is a very touristy street. We stopped here for lunch. It was full so we were on stools. We chose the regional dish of poutine. It was pleasant but the mega calories are included for free.
Had the Pittsburgh steak followed by creme brulee, delicious food and last but not least, service with a smile, nothing was too much trouble, will definitely be back next time I’m Quebec City!
Had a late dinner on the patio on a beautiful night. We had the general Tao chicken and it was simply delicious. The service was quick and friendly. Just such a pleasant experience
