Andrew Tsoy Jdm and I went to this restaurant today. After waiting for around 15 minutes to order, we went inside and told them ourselves. We are big fans of pho and this one was really the worse I tried. The broth was watery, no taste at all. We also took a plate of pork and rice. Too salty, tasted like animal farm?! Very bad experience over all, won’t come back.
Great Food and a Great Price. I’ve eaten here many times and a dinner for 4 will cost under $50 and you are STUFFED when you leave. Food is amazing and you can bring your own beer and wine. Try the Larb on the Laotian menu, it taste like Larb back in Laos and you will no be disappointed.
Yummy. I love this little restaurant, I have been going there regularly for lunch for the past ten years. Familly owned. They are very friendly. Lean meats & fresh vegetables are prepared daily. Lunch special gives you choice of mixing up to 4 different dishes plus an entree or soup for under $7,50, it’s ready to eat when you are. Healthy, tasty & authentic flavours. Give it a try, you won’t regret it (some dished are spicy).
Family-owned :). I eat pretty often at Ban Lao-Thai and I am never disappointed. I love the fresh, lively flavors of the food and the cute, family-owned feel of the resto.Dishes to try:- the Pad Thai – a bit different from the conventional pad thai, but in a good way.- the Papaya salad (thai style) – love the flavors, but watch out, it can be spicy! Tell them how spicy you want it.- the Tom Yum soup – full of ingredients and once again, so flavorful.- the Laotion sausage – really different from other asian-styled sausages. Good with rice. And if you still have room, try the Mango sticky rice (if there are fresh mangoes in season). This dish transported me right back to the streets of Bangkok, where I tried my first mango sticky rice. LOVE IT.
I eaten at this restaurant many times. Most of the time the food was good and Homestyle with a cheap price, however, the food can be inconsistent (I once ordered the same soup but got a different one depending on who was cooking). My issue with this place is the stuff. There is this one woman who cooks and serves who has no people skills and cannot take feedback on when there are issues with the food. The environment can be hostile if she’s not in a good mood.
Great place. This is a nice and local place to go for thai food. We always order the pad-thai and it is soo yummy! I think a dish costs around 10$, which is pretty fair. The staff members are very friendly and cute!
I went there on a weekend evening. I waited 40mins to order something. I gave the waitress eye contact that I wad ready to order something and she ignored me. after 40mins I got up to ask her if I can order something, the waitress gave me attitude saying that there’s a lotof people waiting to get their food. I looked around and there were 4 tables of people. it would have been nicer if she warned me in advance that I would have to wait so long just to order something. I had no choice but to leave and ho to another restaurant. Not recommended if u were to go during weekends.
