    Delivery from hell, food has yet to show up. This was our first and last time ordering from Bofinger. We were excited to try the food — as other reviewers have noted, it’s reasonably priced and looks appealing. Unfortunately, we’ll never know how it tastes as it has been approximately 2 hours since we placed our order and the food has still not arrived. (Please note that this was our experience ordering from the location in NDG on Sherbrooke.)When we called to place a delivery order I was immediately put on hold by the girl who picked up. When she came back to the phone she had just asked for my phone number when I could hear another phone ring in the background and she asked to put me on hold again. After 5 minutes of waiting on hold for her to come back, I hung up. I called back again a few minutes later and this time was able to place an order successfully. We were told it would be about 45 minutes.60 minutes later we realized just how long we’d been waiting and called back. I reached the same girl again and she told me it would be ten minutes, that she could see the driver had left the restaurant and was on their way.Suffice it to say, 15 minutes later the food had still not arrived. This time when I called the restaurant’s number, I hit the option not for delivery but rather for pick-up. The woman who picked up the phone this time was clearly in the actual restaurant. When I told her how long we’d been waiting and asked whether they were planning to offer some kind of a discount for the extreme delay, she apologized and told me that the *service company* they use for deliveries was swamped with orders and that she’d call them and have someone call us back within fifteen minutes. Needless to say, this did not happen.One and a half hours later, I called the delivery number again and advised the same girl who answered that we wanted to cancel our order. As on the previous calls, she seemed extremely flustered and asked for five minutes in which to call us back.It’s now been 30 minutes since that phone call, a total of 2 hours since we first placed our order, and 6 phone calls in all. I have no idea whether our order has actually been canceled, but if it hasn’t been, the delivery person is not going to be happy with us when they show up as we’ve started cooking our own dinner.Thanks for a completely awful first experience, Bofinger.
