We knew we have it right when we saw the locals cheering in their HABS gear before the game. We fit right in; ordered with short wait time; best sandwich in a LONG time. Great service, fun atmosphere.
We had just arrived in Montreal, we don’t speak French and the hotel recommended three restaurants of friendly family style. Perfect choice.
I often visit the Café Republique before going to a Habs game. The food is great and the service is pretty fast, even on busy night. They also have 2 for 1 on beer during the week. I really enjoy their burgers and quesadilla.
