We tried the steamed dumplings which were okay. It was missing a bit of soup inside and the layer of the dumpling should be made a little thinner. Portions are generous. Overall, nice place and decor. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. I would still come back to try the other items on their menu.
Dumplings are my favourite and my husband accompanied me to this place. The veggie dumplings were good but I have had better. The filling wasnt tasty enough. And also there are not much options in vegetarian. The place was highly busy as its famous and the service was pathetic as we were not even given chopsticks Ambience – 3/5Food – 2.5/5Service – 2/5Value for Money – 3/5
Delicious dumplings. Order 2 soups: wonton + hot & sour, and 2 kinds of dumplings. Very busy spot, but we were lucky to get a seat at the bar. Service was acceptable. Restaurant clean. Meal came quick. Soups were ok, nothing spectacular. Dumplings were delicious! Ordered one steamed and the other pan fried, both ways were delicious. Extensive selection of dumplings to choose from and each one can be steamed, fried, or served in broth. Great little spot.
Saucy, salty, crispy, spicy, succulent! Great atmosphere, great food, quick service, great prices. This might just be my new favourite restaurant.
I can’t remember how many times I’ve been to this place, all I know is that I keep coming back for a reason! The lamb and coriander are a must have (steamed or fried). Friendly staff, nice decor and location.
What a little gem! If you are looking for an authentic Asian dumping house look no further. Really cute and simple little restaurant with fresh made to order dumplings. Great selection of different fillings and cooked whichever way you choose, pan fried, steamed, boiled or served in a broth. There is also a long bar in the restaurant which would be ideal for sitting with friends, sharing hot dumplings and sipping sake. This will now be my local dumpling eatery without doubt! Enjoy!
Low profile asian brasserie-type joint. Simple trendy decor. Efficient and friendly service. Open kitchen where you can see your dumplings being prepared. Interesting options on the menu like curry chicken or lamb cilantro dumplings that can be served either boiled, steamed, or pan fried. A great place to sit at the bar, sipping sake or beer and devouring fresh and savory non-traditional dumplings with a good friend.
