The pit boss platter hits the spot. Ribs were fall off the bone juicy, and the pulled pork was very tender. The chicken was on the dryer side, but overall the platter is an excellent choice to try a bit of everything.

Best BBQ…. This gotta be the best BBQ in town. Yesterday, my girlfriend had the 5 napkin burger (she used 10) i had a poutine and the chicken! We found the staff nice but oddly enough, they made me feel on Campus. That restaurant should hire real waitresses not students. Overall, we’ll be back next week!!! Maybe I should move around here and not in Laval Lol.
You gotta try the meatballs.. Solid soul food, seems like Quebec is really getting the hang of BBQ and le Boucan is some of the best I’ve tried yet. Had the Chicken and rib combo, with potato salad and cheesy corn on the side. Perfect proportions, I left stuffed but still walking. BBQ sauce was perfectly sweet and smokey with just a little kick on the back end, meat was perfectly seasoned, not too salty. Oh and the bourbon mojito was just the thing to wash down that sweet, delicious meat, but I’m eager to try some of their other summer cocktails, perhaps on the terrace.
Dank BBQ, Super friendly staff. Ate at La Boucan tonight with my parents tonight and had amazing food. Pretty much everything on the menu is good. The bartender was a really nice dude. Also, the owner took time to talk with us and give us suggestions about other places in Montreal to visit (we’re tourists). Would absolutely go back and recommend.
Rude servers. Me and my boyfriend been here several of times. The food is really good however the service sucks. I order the pulled pork sandwich which is a large portion so I only ate half of it with lots of my sides left too. I asked the waiter to pack it up but she didnt hear me? so im siting there waiting i had to get her attention asking where my food is she said she threw it out and she cant do anything about it.How Rude the waiter cant even go out of her way to get me a new sandwich after she threw out half of my meal and treated me like crap after i asked her to get me another sandwich or offer anything else. I will never come back after being treated like this! Get delivery!! the food is still hot and good by the time you get it. Avoid the rude servers there!!
Hopeless service. My wife took me here last week for my birthday. We made reservations but when we arrived we were asked to sit at bar until our table was ready. Ok no problem, but looking around we see nearly half the restaurant in empty. We asked about the empty tables and they explain they are holding them for larger groups (tables for four). OK, fair enough except we dont see any tables for two. We later find out the table they intend for us is, at the moment, being used as part of a larger group of six. They were still into eating their main meal when we arrived so there was no chance of our table being ready in fifteen minutes as promised. Other patron are walking in off the street, being served, and are ordering while we sit at the bar waiting. Did I mention we had RESERVATIONS?After 40 minutes were searching on my wifes Iphone for somewhere else in the neighbourhood to eat. On the plus side they offer us some complimentary wings at that point, and at about the 45 minute mark were seated. The food pretty good. The wings though, a little tasteless unless you dip them in the bar-b-q sauce (which was very good). The pulled-pork poutine was good (as far as poutines go). Good enough to make me perhaps want to come back and try other dishes if not for the mismanaged reservation and what happened next. We order a second beer and they let us know (apologetically) that the tap is out of gas. Im thinking this is something basic you dont want to run out of on a saturday-night, but whatever, I ask what they have in bottles. I order a Molson Ex, they bring it in a glass. I notice something is off about the taste. I dont think much of it at the time (we still focused on the poor service at this point). The cheque arrives and we se they had brought me a Coors Light. We mention it to the manager(?) and he tries to explain theres no way the waitress offered Molson Ex since they dont carry it in bottles. I dont get it. OK, fine, through some miscommunication I ordered something they dont offer. Is the solution then to just bring whatever to the customer??Plus side: Good food.Minus:Despite reservations made us wait much longer than people stumbling in off the street. Ran out of gas for the taps. Brought wrong drink AND tried to imply it was our mistake. Sadly, we will not be back.
