Good comfort food! I liked their wanton and noodles soup. It was warm, flavorful and perfect for this season! The hot and sour soup was delicious but small in portion size. Dumplings are also pretty small in portion size.

What can I say about Noodle Factory that hasn’t been said before. This restaurant had everything we were looking for. It’s clean, service is fast, and friendly and prices are reasonable. We enjoyed Dumplings, (Pork and Chives, Pork and Shrimps) with General Tao and Beef Noodles and all the dishes were large and tasty. If you are looking for good Chinese food in China town that serves Szechuan, Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine I’d give this place a try. Just remember they accept cash only.

Noodle Factory does not live up to its reputation. I visited it for a quick lunch when I was on errands in Chinatown during the weekend. First off, it doesn’t seem to offer many choices as far as noodle is concerned, I expect much more varieties from it as a dedicated noodle eatery. The restaurant is small, but the interior is not bad, freshly painted room looks clean and tidy. Since it’s my first visit, I settled down on some basic dishes, a fried handmade noodle with beef and a steamed soup dumpling. I was somehow disappointed with the food. The noodle was overcooked, mushy, way passed the al dent point. It’s called handmade noodle, so I was expecting some fresh hand-pulled noodle made on fly in the kitchen, but from what I can see and taste, it’s more of the dried noodled bought from an asian grocery store, not fresh and chewy at all, it wasn’t well cooked neither. The steamed soup dumpling didn’t feel much better, there is a weird taste and smell in the pork fillings, a mix of sweetness and sourness, which is a turn-off for me. Plus there is no soup inside the dumpling. For a restaurant specializing in noodle, I expect much better noodles, but everything is average here, you can go to any Chinese restaurant and get the same or even better noodle dishes. I will definitely not return.

Best place in Chinatown. This restaurant has excellent food, great service and the food it’s not expensive at all.Everybody should try the homemade noodles, there’s a huge differences between them and any other type of noodle.

Great if you’re starving and craving delicious sauteed noodles in large quantities. The service was really quick and the server was nice. Tried the green onion pancake appetizer $5 (yummy), #30 the Singapore vegetable & shrimp noodles (really good) at $12.95 and #25 veggies & noodles in a yummy sauce for $9.95 #25. The only negative thing: there were 2 small pieces of bone in one of the plates.

I had to chance to visit Noodle Factory on my trip to Montreal. My hotel was close to Chinatown so it was a short walk. The place was small and crowded so I had to share a table with a couple. I had hoped to see some noodles being made while I was there, but no such luck.I ordered the stir fried handmade noodles with chicken and also the steamed shrimp dumplings. Both were fantastic. The noodles had a firm bite to them and were very flavorful, and the portion was large. I couldn’t eat it all and the waiter offered to pack it up for me to take back to the hotel. The shrimp dumplings were juicy and divine. I could have sat and eaten those endlessly. If I’m ever in Montreal again, it will be one of the first places I visit again. And again.

Service is pretty bad, and food kinda tasteless. Not super clean either. There are sooo many more options in chinatown that are the same price or cheaper but oh so better!
