Not a bad place, but it definitely doesn’t match the ramen you find in Melbourne. The place itself is very popular and every table was taken when we arrived. They only accept debit or cash.We ordered the classic Sumo ramen and the chicken nugget ramen. For both ramen, we chose the shoyusoup and the udon noodles. I felt that the noodles could have been flavoured more if the broth was saltier. Otherwise, it was an okay dish.As sides, we ordered the gyoza (for pork you get 5, but if you order vegetarian, you get 6) and the takoyaki. Unfortunately, the gyoza had a funny taste to it and we told the waitress, who took it off our bill. The takoyaki was just like any other, neither good, nor bad.Finally, I was quite impressed by the fact that they had milk tea on their menu. They have both milk based and juice based. We picked the banana and the mango milk teas and added tapioca pearls to both. I enjoyed it, but it definitely didn’t match milk tea made by milk tea specialising stores like Chatime.The prices at this place are very normal. Would recommend if you are looking for something filling 🙂
