Pales in comparison to Fairmount, St. Vi and REAL. Every experience I’ve had at Mount Royal bagel has been bad. They created an issue over a groupon for a coworker last year. They refused it and told him to come back the next day. Each bit of small talk I’ve had with the employees was off-putting. Today, I stood at the counter waiting to be served. A guy working behind it stared me right in the face and looked back down at what he was doing. The other employee washed his hands at two different sinks, then stared at me with the same confusion as the other guy. After a few minutes of them walking around, cleaning surfaces and organizing shelves, I walked out. REAL bagel isn’t far from Mount Royal. I’d recommend going there instead. Service is good and prices are better.
Yummy all around!. I had a takeout order for 2 dozen seasame bagels, a tub of saumon cream cheese, and one cinnamon bagel. Everything was really good and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again! Just thinking about the saumon cream cheese makes my mouth salivate.
