Just one: Amazing! We were there as a small group of 6. They sat us at the table by the window…the food was delicious, the service was impeccable, the staff made us feel like one of our friends invited us for dinner at their place…and when you go over to your friend’s house for dinner, you don’t ask what’s on the menu 😉
Extraordinary discovery!Little restaurant with no menu but a list of fresh ingredients available for the chefs to concoct excellency! You can let them know if you have any food intolerance or dislike from this list of ingredients so that everything that is served is just perfection to the eyes, the palate and the soul.Great service.Great ambience, relaxed, decorated simply but interesting.Very good cocktails.Love the fact that they change cutlery and plates after each meal. Total refinement! The flavours are on spot, the platting also! Each plate was a magnificent surprise. From the asparagus salad with huancaina sauce, potatoes, mozzarella and coriander to the halibut with fiddlehead and eggplant, each plate was a different sensory experience that left us satisfied to the core. The only misfortune was the dessert, not only because it was presented as a financier when it wasn’t but worst of all because it was terribly undercooked. It was accompanied by a hazelnut ice cream that wasn’t to reach on flavour nor creaminess and a rich strawberry compote that pleased my sweet tooth. All in all a great great restaurant with marvellous ingenious food.Next time I come I hope (almost know) the dessert wont disappoint.
Unique experience. Small neighborhood restaurant. Great vibe. Unpretentious decor, music, staff. No menu, just a chalkboard with ingredients jotted down like a grocery list. Hence the name: Provisions. The efficient team in the kitchen will compose your 5-course menu excluding whatever you tell them to. Lots of seasonal vegetables. The result is fascinating and delicious.
